Learn the basic motifs like leaves, flowers, climbers, and karukkugal.
Different types of karukku motifs like vatta karukku, kodi karukku, kodi paalai karukku, etc.,
By sketching freehand motifs will enhance your artistic skills and focus

2. Parrot - The Symbol of vibrancy of life

The parrot represents the soul's journey toward enlightenment. It conveys wisdom and the beauty of divine communication, qualities cherished in iconography and sacred art

3. Sketch Mythical Bird Swan (Annam)

Sketch a Swan with beautiful Annavaal Kaurukku (Tail of swan) , which depicts Serenity & Divine qualities.
You can find beautiful swan motifs at the Kanchipuram Kailasanathar Temple in Tamil Nadu.

In Shilpa Shastra and iconography, Keerthimugam (also known as Kirtimukha) is a fierce, mythical creature often depicted with a gaping mouth and huge fangs, symbolizing the devouring of evil and protection. It's also known as "Face of Glory"
You can find beautiful Keerthimugam sculptures at the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur and the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, Tamil Nadu
